I have both the large and the small. The small is disappointing though. The quality control is not close to the large one I received. The stitching on the top seam is slightly messed up. The case had a lot of little white threads in the pockets I had to clean out. And the biggest issue is the straps. They are about 1/2" too short to close with just my ASA-SP-57 standard pilot logbook inside. This is a big deal because the hook and loop fasteners do not bend well and the straps will not stay closed.
The large gets 5 stars though. The only problem I have with the large is the size does not easily fit in the outside pocket of my Flight Gear bag.
Absolutely perfect for what it’s designed for. Provides some protection for my logbook while holding other essentials I like to have with me as well.
The price and quality are perfect, it folds down nice a slim and keeps my logbook, medical, licenses and certificates all together. I would like to see the leather straps about 1/2” longer so they would attach all the way when it is full.
