I treated myself to a new flight bag and chose the lift 2.0. I liked the design and the color and it seemed promising. I was a sports flight gear duffle style flight bag which I like but wanted to try a smaller form factor. The lift 2.0 seemed to be a perfect option but I’m a little disappointed. My 11” iPad with the pivot case does not fit in the iPad sleeve pocket. I have to store it in the same compartment as my headset. After managing to transfer all my items: spare batteries, small bottle contact solution, 11” iPad, sentry, mini flashlight, charges, and some GoPro batters into the lift 2.0 it’s a pretty tight fit. I like that the bag is smaller and love the colors but I’m just not confident that this was the right choice for me and my biggest complaint is my iPad not being able to fit into the iPad sleeve pocket. If you don’t carry much and have an iPad mini then it’s definitely a great option and seems well made. I do love the orange interior as it does make it easy to find items.
This is fantastic flight bag. For me it is the perfect size easily holding my headset, iPad and everything else I need. It has so many well thought out compartments. What I really like about it is the access to everything I store in it. I no longer have to go digging around for what I need like I did with my last flight bag. It is very well made and looks great too. I chose to get mine embroidered with my last name. It adds a really nice touch. I highly recommend this flight bag.
