There is a lot to love about this bag. I just used it for the first time. As a simulator instructor and line pilot, I was recently traveling for both and loaded the bag up. (I commute to the simulator job, don’t live there)
some thoughts:
-carries well over a shoulder, or by the handle
-orange interior makes finding items easier
-multitude of pockets suited my use well, I have a Bose Proflite headset in its case, an iPad, chargers, several pairs of glasses, a flashlight and a headlamp (from Flight Outfitters), numerous other small items, pens, etc.
When I was at headquarters teaching in the simulator, I took the headset and flashlight out and used that space for sneakers and gym clothes in a bag. I was also able to use it as a briefcase for work. Then when I went out to fly a three day Tokyo trip, I replaced my headset and flashlight into the bag.
My only hesitation is that the bag seems to collapse a bit when I hang it on the back of my suitcase from the handle. I think a stiffer upper panel (under handle area across top) might make the bag support itself better. I felt like it was collapsing a bit around the center. Other than that, seems like it’s going to be a winner. I took a picture, but don’t see anywhere to upload. Thanks for a nice bag!

….also want to add that I have about 6 sunshades that go in the back pocket, which are not small….
