Learn to Fly Contest

It’s “Learn to Fly Month” at Sporty’s Pilot Shop, so we figured there’s no better time to celebrate the spirit of aviation than now! 

X-Aviation and Flight Outfitters have partnered with Sporty’s to run a flight simulation driven landing skills contest. As a desktop aviator, this is your chance to transition your simulation knowledge to real world flying! If you’re new to flight simulation and have an interest in learning to fly, you can join in on the fun too!

What’s the deal?  

From May 15th – June 10th, 2023, fly the TOGASIM MU-2 Marquise v2 from X-Aviation into Sporty’s home airport (Identifier: I69) with a stiff crosswind. The person with the most stable approach and landing based on a recorded video of your simulated flight will be the declared winner. We have even created software to make participation really simple, so keep reading!
